A game-changing flagship website for DC Lottery.

Most other state lotteries let inconsistent, uninspired product art drive their site aesthetic. We chose to subvert this pattern by focusing on people and abstract patterns inspired by their brand identity.

While this effort was largely pragmatic with significant technical and legal requirements, we made sure to find moments for levity along the way.

As a government website serving complex content to a variety of audiences, it was imperative that our efforts focus on ease of use and accessibility. Rigorous design documentation helped ensure consistency and equity.
