A hypothetical brand exercise for a beloved chain of Washington, D.C. taco joints.

As an internal marketing exercise for NJI Media, I initiated the reimagining of the visual identity from the ground up.

I blended a clean, contemporary point of view with typographic cues from political broadside wood type and street food-inspired handpainted details for a result that is unique to D.C. food culture.
